A community of faith, sharing our treasure with those in need.
The church describes itself as "a community of faith, sharing our treasure with those in need through our Mission giving." Members actively participate in service projects and aim to be "a beacon of Christian love through outreach."
The congregation collects and distributes school backpacks, socks, and underwear. They prepare monthly meals at Connections for the Homeless and provide Christmas gifts to homeless individuals. Additional efforts involve gathering clothing for immigrants, supporting the community nursery school diaper drive, donating to food banks, and stocking community refrigerators in Evanston.
The church participates in the New Trier Multi-Faith Alliance, sharing events through their communications and attending activities hosted by other faith communities.
There are many ways to serve. Join us for one-time events or become a regular volunteer.
FCCW serves as a vibrant community hub by partnering with local businesses, schools, and service organizations. Through these collaborations, we help support learning, creativity, wellness, and community connection beyond traditional worship.
